SEMO Archivist Presents Rare Books to SGMS Students

SGMS students in World History class were given the opportunity to view the Charles Harrison Rare Book Collection from Southeast Missouri State University at Kent Library via video chat. Archivist, Roxanne Dunn, displayed medieval and Renaissance-era books that date as far back as 1234. One of the books is a printed book known as incunabula, a book produced within 100 years of the invention of the Gutenberg Printing Press. Ms. Dunn provided an amazing experience for students to examine rare historical books.
