The Ste. Genevieve High School Future Business Leaders of America, FBLA, competed in the Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference held April 8-10 in Springfield, Missouri. Ste. Genevieve High School had four students participate in the competition. Katie Levy competed in Computer Applications. Brittney Kreitler was a competitor in Spreadsheet Applications. Devan Parmer participated in the Accounting I event. Kaitlyn Kreitler competed in Database Design and Applications as well as Economics.
There were nearly 3,400 students from across the state competing in a wide variety of events. Categories range from Accounting I to Website Design, with Economics, Public Speaking, and Social Media mixed in between. Overall, FBLA is home to more than 70 events. Specific events vary across the three divisions of the organization – Middle Level, FBLA, and PBL.
