Business & Finance

The Business Office is responsible for managing all financial and business service functions for the district, including: developing the annual budget, auditing, accounting and financial reporting, state financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, investments, purchasing, financial statement development, travel expenses, school lunch programs; property and liability claims, tuition/tax credit billing, Ste. Genevieve R-II Foundation account management, insurance benefit administration, payroll and employee and retirement benefits. Several resources are available below. 


Annual Report

The Annual Report for the Ste. Genevieve R-II School District is a resource that offers an overview of the district's programs and achievements to all of our stakeholders. It is a way of showing accountability and transparency to the families and residents who support our schools.

State law (Section 160.522) requires the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to publish an annual "report card" about each school district, each school building and each charter school. All of the information provided in the report is compiled from data our district reports to the Department. At the website below, search for “Ste. Genevieve Co. Audit Summary Reports

State law (Section 165.'121.5(3)) requires all school districts to prepare and make public a summary of their annual audit reports. This report includes: the scope of the audit examination; fund balances, receipts and disbursements by major classifications; and the auditor's opinion on the financial statements.

Revenue & Expenditure Reports

State law (Section 160.066) requires all school districts to report and make public its revenue, expenditures and disbursements on a regular basis beginning on Sept. 1, 2019.
