Both Bloomsdale and Ste. Genevieve Elementary schools recently held their McTeacher fundraising nights in March at McDonald’s! Bloomsdale Elementary teachers and staff raised $640 for their building, a new record for their school!

“I really appreciate all of our staff who work to do those extra tasks for our students, like volunteering for McTeacher Night,” Principal Lorie Zuspann said. “Our students absolutely love it, and this work is so important to our school community.”

Bloomsdale Elementary will use its funds for reading rewards, positive office referrals for students, birthday books and behavior incentives.

“We are so happy to partner with McDonald’s every year to be able to fund some of those activities that otherwise might not have been possible,” Principal Geri Diesel said. “We so appreciate all of our community members who were able to come out and support our schools, and a big thank you to our staff for their efforts in going above and beyond for our students!”

Eighteen Ste. Genevieve Elementary teachers and staff volunteered to work at McTeacher Night, where they were able to raise $826 for their building! These funds were divided between the teachers who worked the event to use in their classrooms.
