Ste. Genevieve Middle School Spreads Christmas Cheer with Community Caroling

Ste. Genevieve Middle School knows that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing sweetly for community members to hear! Faculty members and administrators drove students to more than 30 destinations throughout our community to sing carols and visit, including: City Hall, McDonald’s, Basler Funeral Home, Barleys, Potential, Dairy Queen, Fallert Bus Service, Flieg’s Equipment, Dew Drop, Ste. Genevieve Vision Care, Jackie Gonz, Mid America Rehab, Ste. Genevieve Health Department, Ste. Genevieve Police Station, Mississippi Lime, Care Center, Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, Ste. Genevieve Sheriff’s Office, the Ambulance District, Riverview Nursing Home, the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center, Holcim, Bloomsdale Elementary, Ste. Genevieve Elementary, Ste. Genevieve High School, and the SG R-II cafeteria and maintenance department, among others. Ten students on the Positive Office Referrals list delivered a plateful of cookies and sang carols at every local business they visited as a thank you for their support of our schools. They even surprised retired teachers at their homes with carols! The Student Council spent time visiting and singing carols at the Care Center and Riverview. They would like to wish everyone happy holidays!
