Senior Alyssa Huber Named March Elks Student of the Month

Congratulations to senior Alyssa Huber the Elks Student of the Month for March from Ste. Genevieve High School! Alyssa is the daughter of Mike and Angela Huber.

Alyssa's scholastic honors include: Being ranked #7 of her graduating senior class, earning A Honor Roll each semester, being part of the Top 10% every year in high school, and winning numerous class awards, including CP Biology, Accounting and Drawing. Alyssa has also been involved in a number of clubs and organizations, including National Art Honor Society, Math Team, Future Business Leaders of America, SGHS Mentors, Skills USA, and Future Teachers of America. 

Alyssa is a member of the SGHS softball team. During her time on the team, she has developed into a team leader and has been selected to the All-Conference, All-District, and All-Region. Alyssa was also selected as a member of the Academic All-State team. She has also earned numerous awards, including Most Valuable Pitcher, Offensive MVP, and Defensive MVP. Alyssa is a tremendous leader in and out of the classroom.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going fishing and riding side by sides. She loves to go shopping with her mom, sister, or friends, and enjoys helping her little cousins with schoolwork or sports. Alyssa likes working out, playing softball, and enjoys listening to music. She loves art, painting, drawing, and working with clay. Alyssa plans to attend Mineral Area College and play softball. She then plans to attend a 4-year university to complete her degree in elementary education.
