Superintendent Dr. Julie Flieg

Dr. Julie Flieg is an alumna of the Ste. Genevieve R-II School District and has spent the entirety of her educational career as part of the SG R-II family. Dr. Flieg’s first took a position as a secretary and registrar at the high school in 1992, and then taught Adult Computer Education in 1994. In 1996, she took on a dual role: she was a Business teacher for the middle school and also held a teaching assistant position in the Special Education Classrooms. In 1997, she made the transition to the high school to teach Business, where she stayed for six years. In 2003, Dr. Flieg became the assistant principal of the middle school and the district’s athletic director. In 2009, she became principal of the middle school, where she stayed for five years. In 2014, Dr. Flieg became the assistant superintendent, and in 2018, she became the superintendent.

Dr. Flieg earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Jefferson College in 1992, her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) in 1996, her Master of Education Degree from UMSL in 1999, her Specialist Degree in Education Administration from UMSL in 2007 and her Doctorate of Education Degree from Missouri Baptist University in 2014.

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Paul Taylor

Dr. Taylor has spent 17 years of his career in education at Ste. Genevieve R-II School District. Dr. Taylor began teaching in 1997, when he took a position working at Perry County School District’s middle school. He taught there for two years and taught at the high school for one year. Dr. Taylor joined the SG R-II team when he became a high school biology teacher in 2003, a position he held for nine years. In the 2012-2013 school year, Dr. Taylor became the middle school assistant principal and held that position for two years before becoming the middle school principal, a position he held for the next four years. In the 2018-2019 school year, Dr. Taylor became the SG R-II Assistant Superintendent.

Dr. Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from SEMO in 1997, his Master of Natural Science in Biology from SEMO in 2002, his Master of Arts in Education from SEMO in 2011, his Specialist in Education from SEMO in 2013 and his Doctor of Education from Missouri Baptist University in 2016.

Director of Student Services Dr. Teresa Green

Dr. Green started her career at the Ste. Genevieve R-II School District Director of Student Services in 2014, after spending seven years at Orchard Farm School District as the District Coordinator of Special Education. Dr. Green began her educational career as a teacher's aide in an alternative school setting. She taught middle school and high school students psychology and teen leadership in Texas before moving back to Missouri. Dr. Green taught special education students in middle school and high school for three years at Valley R-VI School District. She pursued her education and worked as a Process Coordinator/Director for the West Central Cooperative in mid-Missouri for two years. 

Dr. Green earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Missouri State University-Springfield in 2000, her Master in Special Education Administration from the University of Missouri-St Louis in 2005 and her Doctor of Educational Administration from Lindenwood University in 2013. She is certified in K-12 Special Education, Teacher of English Speakers of Other Languages, Special Education Administration and Superintendent.
