SEMO History Professors, Dr. Courtney Kisat, Dr. Joseph Snyder, and Dr. Katie Lee traveled to Ste. Genevieve Middle School to talk to students about their National History Day projects. The interactions between the professors and the students were great because they made suggestions about how to use primary and secondary sources and also how to create story lines that would better fit the theme of Triumph and Tragedy. It is rare to have university take time out of their schedule to talk to students and their willingness to help was greatly appreciated.
