Congratulations to the Ste. Genevieve Jazz Band! This ensemble performed at the North County Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 20. This band includes the Ste. Genevieve Middle School After School Jazz Band and Ste. Genevieve High School band students who earn A+ tutoring hours for participating in rehearsals and tutoring middle school instrumentalists. This ensemble meets once a week after school and is directed by Mrs. Lindsey Elders and Mr. Joe Hull.
After the performance on stage, students worked with clinician Mr. Aaron Ledhe, Director of Bands at Ladue Schools. The ensemble received positive remarks on the overall level of musicianship, the rhythm section, and soloists. Way to go, Ste. Genevieve Jazz Band!
