Congratulations to the SGHS Speech and Debate team for excellent results at the COMO Classic, held at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri. This was the last invitational of the year. The following students advanced to semi-finals: Alissa Grass in Original Oratory, Kyler Gugel and Rae Winch in Poetry Reading, Aidan Lewis in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, Victoria Merrifield and Ayden White in Prose Reading, and Bennett Walls in Storytelling. Out of the seven semi-finalists, six students advanced to finals. See the final results below:
