Virginia Akins is the Elks Student of the Month for November from Ste. Genevieve High School. Virginia is the daughter of Steve and Wendy Akins.
Virginia's scholastic honors include: being ranked #3 of her graduating senior class, earning A Honor Roll each semester, being in the Top 10% every year in high school, and winning numerous awards while being involved in the Ste. Genevieve Chapter of the Future Farmers of America. During this time, she has been chosen as the chapter vice-president and the Area FFA treasurer.
Virginia has also been an active member of other clubs and organizations at SGHS. Some of those include Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Society. In her free time, Virginia enjoys reading and spending quality time with her friends and family. Virginia plans to attend a university and pursue a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Agriculture.
