Weiler Elks Student of the Month

Brooke Weiler, daughter of Curt and Pat Weiler, is the Elks Student of the Month for December from Ste. Genevieve High School.

Brooke's Scholastic Honors include:  Being ranked #3 of her graduating senior class, A Honor Roll each semester, member of National Honor Society, student council president, and FCCLA first vice-president. Brooke has been extremely involved in Student Council, FCCLA, FCA, Freshman Mentor, Math Team, and Competitive Speech and Debate. She also has been a member of the SGHS volleyball team.

Brooke has received numerous leadership honors such as attending Missouri Association of Student Councils State Summer Leadership Conference, All-District Choir member, and Kindness Award nominee. She has been involved in numerous community service projects such as working with the Adopt-a-highway cleanup, First Responder breakfast, Rake N’ Run, Down’s Day volunteer, and Senior Citizens Christmas dinner. Brooke has helped with food drives, flood relief, and Challenger Baseball.

In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time reading, riding around and jamming with her brother, and spending time with family and friends. Brooke has been accepted to the University of Missouri-Columbia where she will study biochemistry and pursue a career as a pediatric psychiatrist.
