We are proud to announce that our very own Ste. Genevieve High School Chain Gang and Press Box Crew have been selected to receive the Southeast Missouri Distinguished Service Award for their dedication to the Ste. Genevieve Football program!
Members of this group have served anywhere from 3 years to 47 years working Ste. Genevieve High School football games. The members include: Mike “Rabbit” Thomure, Randy Palmer, Eugene “Bum” Stoll, Ronnie “Bull” Palmer, Randy Hogenmiller, Derek Schumer, Art Armbruster, Paul Ahrens and Tim Donze. The group was recognized on the 50-yard-line in front of their hometown crowd prior to the 2024 Homecoming Game against Fredericktown on Friday, Oct. 11.
The Distinguished Service Award program recognizes individuals who have served the Missouri State High School Activities Association in a manner that is unique and whose contributions have been beyond the ordinary. We want to thank these gentlemen for their continued support and congratulate them on this much-deserved recognition.
