Last week, the SGHS Student Council planned activities to celebrate Kindness Week. They focused on recognizing groups and individuals who deserve a heartfelt thank you for their dedication to others during the last few months.
Some of their activities included:
Giving a shout-out to faculty and staff during SG R-II Employee Appreciation Week by writing notes of encouragement and thanks on the high school's windows.
Putting up a sign outside of the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital as a thank you to our healthcare workers during this time. The Student Council would like to thank member Kylee Clayton and her grandfather, Alvin Brown, for creating the sign!
Creating encouraging cards for local care home residents.
Sponsoring a Food Service Appreciation Day to thank our Food Service employees for their dedication to providing meals to children during school closure.
