Congratulations to Elizabeth Basler, the SGHS Rotary Student of the Month for December. Elizabeth is the daughter of James and Linda Basler.
Elizabeth's scholastic honors include: being ranked in the top 12% of her class and earning A Honor Roll each semester. She earned the designation of Summa Cum Laude in the 2020-2021 school year. She has been involved in her class as an active member of Student Council, National Honor Society, Spirit Club, FRIENDS, and SADD. She has been varsity manager for the SGHS boys basketball team and has also been on the SGHS volleyball team for 4 years. She was chosen to attend RYLA leadership, but was unable to attend due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elizabeth works for the Bloomsdale Family Fun Farm and at the River Rapids water park as a lifeguard. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys hanging out with friends and family, working out, and playing volleyball. Elizabeth plans to attend Missouri State University and work towards her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
