Congratulations to Miranda Ponder, the Elks Student of the Month for January from Ste. Genevieve High School. Miranda is the daughter of Jeramy and Jacqueline Ponder.
Miranda's scholastic honors include: being ranked in the top 10% of her class and earning A Honor Roll each semester. She earned the designation of Summa Cum Laude for the past two school years. She has been involved in her class as an active member of the National Art Honor Society and German Club. Miranda has also been a member of Color Guard and Chorale. As a member of National Art Honor Society, she has also placed in a Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest.
In her free time, Miranda enjoys playing video games with friends, drawing, painting, and watching videos. She plans to attend Missouri State University and major in art. She desires to become an artist for independent game developers.
