Dr. Rhett Oldham's class shows Christmas cards they made for partner classrooms in countries around the world!

This holiday season, Dr. Rhett Oldham's history classes created and swapped Christmas cards with classrooms from six different countries! The Transatlantic Educator Dialogue (TED) Program brings teachers from Europe and the United States together. Because of TED, Ste. Genevieve Middle School was able to participate in this Christmas Card Exchange.

Teachers from Greece, Czech Republic, Turkey, Bulgaria, France, and the United Kingdom came together to bring Christmas around the world to our students. What a great opportunity to share the joy of the Christmas season from our country to theirs.

The partners included:

  • Tanya Madjarova and her students from the Romain Rolland Foreign Language School in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria

  • Hana Ulíková and her students from the Secondary Technical School in Česká Lípa

  • Anne-Sophie Saint-Sulpice and her students at the

    Collège Léon-Marie Fournet

  • Andy Cooper and his students at Lancing College in the southern part of the United Kingdom

  • Hasret Şenoğlu and her students from Abdurrahmanpaşa High School in Anatolia, Turkey

  • Georgia Maneta from the 2nd Primary School Mileon-Kalon Neron, Greece
