Veterans Parade Details

This year, there will be a Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, Nov. 10, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The parade is being organized by Ste. Genevieve High School’s Student Council and Broadcasting groups in collaboration with Valle Catholic’s student body, in order to honor our veterans and thank them for their service. All veterans are invited to participate, and information is available at the American Legion and VFW halls.

Information for veterans wishing to participate:

  • Veterans can meet at the Legion Hall at noon.
  • Each era will have a trailer ready, but veterans can enter their own vehicle.
  • Signs will be provided for them.
  • A sack lunch will be provided to all veterans participating.
  • Veterans are encouraged to wear masks.

Parade Route: The parade is open to the public. The parade route will begin at the American Legion Hall, head down 4th Street toward downtown, pass in front of Valle Catholic, turn left onto Washington Street, then right onto 5th Street, passing in front of Ste. Genevieve Middle School, then turning left down Dragon Drive toward the back of the high school, passing through the high school parking lot and up 8th Street, turning left onto Washington Street in front of Ste. Genevieve Elementary.
