Congratulations to Tessa Hager, the Elks Student of the Month for April from Ste. Genevieve High School. Tessa is the daughter of Micah Okenfuss and Sean Hager.
Tessa’s scholastic honors include: earning A Honor Roll each semester, being in the Top 10% every year in high school, and being awarded Summa Cum Laude. Tessa has been awarded the CP English IV award, the Statistical Reasoning award, and the Multimedia Production award. Tessa has also been involved in a number of clubs and organizations, including serving as a class officer for three years, and being a member of the following: National Honor Society (NHS) for three years, currently serving as Treasurer; Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) for three years; Math Team for four years; and managing the volleyball team for three years.
In her free time, Tessa enjoys going on drives, hanging out with friends and spending time with her family. She is employed at the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center and River Rapids Waterpark as a lifeguard, and she is also a finance student at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. Tessa plans to attend a community college while deciding on a major and then transferring to a four-year university.
