The SGMS band program would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the local businesses and clubs who provided student scholarships to the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy Summer Concert Band Camp in August 2024. SGMS band students attended rehearsals at Mineral Area College under the direction of Mrs. Linda Huck, with Mrs. Amanda Dement. They performed an outstanding concert at the end of the week!
Every SGMS student who applied for a scholarship to attend band camp was awarded one, and was able to attend tuition-free because of the generosity of our local sponsors.
