STE. GENEVIEVE R-II SCHOOL DISTRICT

On Monday, Nov. 25, the Ste. Genevieve Jazz Band participated in Farmington High School’s Jazz Festival. Ste. Genevieve Middle School and High School band students performed onstage and worked with clinician Mr. Rob Babel. Mr. Babel emphasized the importance of learning jazz improvisation, and taught a lesson on how to improvise a solo over the Bb Blues chord progression. It was a fun and educational experience for the young musicians! Great job, Dragons!
