Congratulations to the Ste. Genevieve Middle and High School Jazz Band! This ensemble performed at the North County Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 5. After the performance on stage, students worked with clinician Mr. Ron Sikes, Director of Bands at Jefferson R-7. A special shout out goes to Wyatt Schmelzle and Camden Strupp for earning outstanding musicianship awards for their solos! Congratulations Wyatt, Camden, and the Ste. Genevieve Jazz Band!
This ensemble meets voluntarily once a week after school. High School band students earn A+ tutoring/mentoring hours or NHS service hours for participation. This ensemble is directed by Mrs. Lindsey Elders and Mr. Joe Hull.
