Congratulations to the Emeralds dance team who recently participated in the UDA Dance Camp at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis from June 21 - 25.
The group learned and performed a performance routine and earned a blue “superior” ribbon, and each dancer then learned and performed two other routines. Overall, the group was recognized with 30 blue ribbons, one red ribbon, and one white ribbon, which earned them a Superior Trophy for their combined ribbon totals! And we would like to share a special recognition to Ava Zerwig for making All American—Way to go, Ava!
The dancers worked daily on new techniques and new dances. They were able to attend break-out sessions to learn how to build up their team, and they also participated in team-building activities to set goals for the season.
