On Friday, Nov. 21, the Ste. Genevieve Middle and High School Jazz Band attended the Farmington High School Jazz Festival. Students performed on stage and then participated in an educational clinic with Mr. Nate Nall—trumpeter, educator and composer from Kansas City.
The jazz band is an extra-curricular activity that meets once a week after school. SGHS band students earn A+ tutoring hours or NHS service hours for mentoring and tutoring SGMS band students.
