Members of the Ste. Genevieve High School chapter of Société Honoraire de Français (French Honor Society) recently volunteered at the Felix Vallé State Historic Site during Rural Heritage Days.
Students helped bring local history to life by assisting visitors with a variety of hands-on activities, including face painting, quill writing, rag doll making and candle making. Students also assisted with tours of the historic home.
The volunteer opportunity gave students a chance to serve their community while taking part in an event celebrating the history, traditions and heritage of the Ste. Genevieve area.
SG R-II is proud of these students for sharing their time and talents with our community!
