Elementary Students & Staff Celebrate 100 Days of School

Recently, our elementary school students and staff have been commemorating 100 days of school for the 2020-2021 school year! While we celebrate this milestone annually, this year seemed especially sweet, in light of all of the changes this past year has brought for our schools.

Our faculty and staff spent time making the week extra special for students with special decorations, planning activities, creating banners and making math fun! Students created shirts by choosing a theme and gluing 100 objects to them, such as toy dinosaurs, colorful cotton balls, and much more! They counted how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop (it’s over 100!), and did classroom exercises in sets of 10.

And not only did classes celebrate 100 days of school, but second grade students at Bloomsdale Elementary took on the theme of 102 Dalmations to celebrate their 102nd day of school! And did you know that our fifth grade students have been in school 1000 DAYS? Our Ste. Genevieve Elementary students celebrated their school careers during this week!
