Ste. Genevieve Elementary recently purchased dozens of new children’s books for the Bobby G. Webb Library after receiving its annual donation from Robert and Peggy Webb.
The library is named the Bobby G. Webb library in Mr. Webb’s honor. This year, Mr. and Mrs. Webb’s donation went toward various types of children’s books, including a set of Blastoff! Readers nonfiction books, which cover subjects such as types of careers and positions, animals, and more!
“Each year, our students are excited to check out which new books have been added to our library through their donation,” Principal Nanya Gegg said. “We greatly appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Webb’s generosity, because their contributions have enabled our library to further expand students’ interest in reading with a wider range of children’s literature.
