Ste. Genevieve High School senior Sydney Bumgardaner signed a national letter of intent to compete on the basketball team at Oglethorpe University. Sydney is the daughter of Chris and Tara Bumgardaner.
The signing took place on Friday, April 16. Her parents were in attendance, as well as the following family, friends, coaches and teachers who attended to show their support and offer congratulations: her sister, Samantha Bumgardaner; her grandma, Nancy Sheets; girls basketball head coach Jordanna Walk; Athletic Director Jeff Nix; teachers Ian Diamond and Cody Schwent; and her friends Mary Reinbott and AJ Prudent.
