Ste. Genevieve Elementary Holds Annual Career Day

This year, Career Day was held at Ste. Genevieve Elementary for fourth and fifth grade students on Friday, Oct. 22, in the Performing Arts Center. Students had the opportunity to meet several local business professionals and organizations, who gave presentations about their various career paths! The members of the Student Lighthouse team led the program.

Mrs. Greminger and fourth and fifth grade faculty and students would like to thank the local businesses and professionals who took the time to present to and engage with our students about their respective careers: Amy Helvey, aerospace engineer; Elisha Gegg, entrepreneur; John Ruessler, police sergeant; Dr. Kaitlyn Lukefahr, optometrist with Ste. Genevieve Vision Care; Charles Drost, storyboard artist; Rikki Shaefer, physician assistant; and Kyle Schaefer, electrical engineer. Thanks to careful planning and collaboration among staff and community members, our students experienced fun, informational presentations about possible careers!
