SGMS Art Student Recognized in Bill of Rights Day Art Contest

Congratulations to Ste. Genevieve Middle School seventh grader Cailin Hallin for being recognized in the 2nd Annual Bill of Rights Day Student Contest! Art teacher Mrs. Becky Keim’s Art 1 and Art 2 classes participated in the contest this year. The theme was The Importance of the Bill of Rights. Cailin’s artwork displayed images of a waving flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, the White House, an eagle, fireworks and the Pledge of Allegiance. Her submission earned her a runner-up prize and a $50 Amazon gift card. Students from 10 states participated in the contest, with more than 300 entries submitted! Congratulations, Cailin!
