Morocco University Students Talk Global Citizenship with SGMS World History

Recently, Dr. Rhett Oldham’s eighth grade World History class was invited to a discussion on global citizenship with university students in Morocco! Students held the virtual discussion “What Does It Mean to Be a Global Citizen and An American?”with Dr. Mohamed Bettaoui’s English class at Hasson I University in Settat. Students discussed over Zoom the topic and then the floor was open for questions. The questions were deep and thought-provoking. “I can’t begin to describe how proud I am of my students when talking to the university students in Morocco,” Dr. Oldham said. “This is just one more example of how students at SGMS rise to the level of expectation and represent our community in a positive way.” See more of our SGMS students’ global collaborations here:
