Ste. Genevieve High School will celebrate Homecoming on the week of October 8th, 2018 to October 13th, 2018.

The theme for this year’s Homecoming “Game Shows”.


The themes for each class is as follows:

   Freshmen:        Wipeout

   Sophomores:   Deal or No Deal:

   Juniors:             Family Feud

   Seniors:             Wheel of Fortune

                              Girls Golf Sectionals--9:00am

Tues. 10/9            Christmas/Winter Day

                              Volleyball@Park Hills--7:00


Wed. 10/10         Class Theme Day (Each class dresses as their gameshow theme)

                             Spirit Rally at 7pm

                             Powder Puff Football 8pm


Thurs.10/11         Duo Day (Batman/Robin, Spongebob/Patrick, etc)

                             Volleyball @ Jackson


Fri. 10/12             “Green and White Day” 

                             Parade at 5:00pm

                             Band Booster Chili Supper 4:00-6:30pm

                             Reunion for classes 1968, 1978, and 1993 from 5:30-7:00pm

                                    in the Peggy J. Johnson Gymnasium

                             Varsity football vs. DeSoto at 7:00pm

                             Queen coronation at half-time


Sat. 10/13            Cross Country @ Beorgia 9am

                             Parade Rain Make-up @ 10am

                             Homecoming Dance 7:00-10:00pm @ Peggy J. Johnson Gymnasium


Homecoming Parade

●       Leaves Parking Lot at 5:00

●       Participating Vehicles must be registered

●       Registered Vehicles should be on the lot by 4:00

●       Riders in the parade should be present by 4:30

●       Parade route:  Fifth to Washington, Washington to Main, Main to Merchant, Merchant to Third, Third to Market, Market to Fourth, Fourth to Washington, Washington to Fifth, and Fifth back to the student parking lot.   


Homecoming Dance

●       $10/student

●       Semi-Formal (ties, no jeans)

●       Outside dates must be approved by Oct. 3rd


All alumni classes and community organizations, including candidates running for local office, are invited to participate in the parade.  If you would like to get your group registered for the parade, please contact Kyle Schweiss by October 10 at 3pm at or 883-4500, extension #2160.  Along with this year's court, class floats, marching bands, and school organizations  The retiring Homecoming Queen, Mattilyn Helms, from the Class of 2018, will also be featured in the parade.
