Jacob Johns is the Rotary Student of the Month for September from Ste. Genevieve High School. Jacob is the son of Angela and Jeff Johns.
Jacob's scholastic honors include being ranked in the top 12% of his class and earning A Honor Roll each semester. He earned the designation of Summa Cum Laude for the past two school years. He has been involved in his class as an active member of Student Council, National Honor Society, Future Teachers of America (FTA), and is the president of Spanish Club. He has been a member of the SGHS football and basketball teams. During this time, he was a member of the Academic All-State team for both sports. He was also chosen as a Missouri Boys State nominee.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys hanging out with friends and family, camping, fishing, and watching movies. Jacob plans to attend Mineral Area College and then transfer to a four-year university. Right now, his major is undecided.
