Last night, the Board of Education approved: 1) Modified Quarantine Guidance for students (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zuvQlejGQwm8yVfj5bMH88cmSYbgZOnb/view), and 2) transitioning the Face Covering Mandate to strongly encouraging face coverings. Visitors must still wear a face covering. Both begin Monday, Oct. 11. Both decisions will be reviewed at the next regular session meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

The Board of Education has approved a mask mandate to be implemented on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, for all students, employees and visitors during school hours. This mandate would follow the same parameters used last year: Face coverings will be required at certain times throughout the day (during transitions and when they cannot appropriately socially distance). Bus Routes: Parents and guardians, our bus routes will returning to an earlier schedule. Please have your children at the bus stop about 10-15 minutes earlier than last year, until routes have settled into a routine. Thank you!
BLE Families-In order to social distance more easily, we are extending the time of our Open Houses with 20 minutes session each half hour. PreK and Kindergarten Open House tomorrow night will be from 5:00-7:00pm and your child’s teacher will be reaching out to you to set up appointments. 1st-5th grade Open House on Thursday night will be from 5:00-8:00. 1st and 2nd grade teachers will be reaching out to set up appointments as well. 3rd-5th grade teachers are asking you to come on the hour or 1/2 hour for 20 minute sessions. We are also asking visitors to wear masks as stated in the reopening plan. We are looking forward to seeing you all!
