Recently, SGE preschool students had the opportunity to learn about fire prevention and firefighters’ work! Mrs. Sarah Carlson and Alan Schilli from Ozora Fire Department visited Ste. Genevieve Elementary Preschool and Early Childhood to read a story and discuss ways the children could stay safe if they were ever in a burning building or house.
The students enjoyed seeing and learning about the different tools and equipment found on the truck. Alan dressed in his gear to show the students what firefighters look like if they have to go into a house to rescue someone and to fight fires. Thanks to the Ozora Fire Department for always providing our preschoolers with a fire prevention program!
