SGE Celebrates First Semester Habit Leaders

Ste. Genevieve Elementary held their Habit Leader Ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 13, celebrating their first semester Habit Leaders! These students are chosen as Habit Leaders by living and learning the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People each and every day. They show tremendous leadership, follow expectations and lead the way for their peers.

The first semester habit leaders included: 

  • Early Childhood/Preschool: Charley Weber, Collin Fallert, Jonah Marshall, Adalyn Weathers

  • Kindergarten: Willa Hogenmiller, Joseph Roth, Kinley Castilaw, Gordon Barr, Laynie Gegg, Wyatt Mertzlufft, Willa Arnold, Lysander Henderson, Kase Langeneckert, Dominic Huck, Kobe Dodson, Dilan Eckenfels

  • 1st Grade: Landon Basler, Relia Woods, Matalynn Smith, Sadie Davitz, Magnolia Naeger, Hazel Scoggin, Haley Sumner, Jamison Walk, Brooke Grither, Ruby Wibbenmeyer

  • 2nd Grade: Keaton James, Tessa Richardson, Hope Clayton, Ethan Hurst, Noah Huber, Liam Wilson, Dylan Maurice, Chloe Hill, VivianMei Mitchell, Elliett Brethold

  • 3rd Grade: Mason Lekki, McKenzi Amschler, Jordyn Horton, Chevy Davis, Lillian Roth, Camden Schmelzle, Miles Lanterman, Hayden Sumner

  • 5th Grade: Kamrie Meyer, Cierra Voelker, Chase Gegg, Peyton Gegg, Anya Naeger, Sydney Nesslein, Noah Kertz, Wyatt Schmelzle, Lane Roth, Payton Weibrecht

This year, Ste. Genevieve Elementary implemented a Habit Leader Hall of Fame for any student who has received the honor of Habit Leader three times during their years at SGE!

Throughout the year, teachers and administrators surprise the students at home with yard signs to celebrate! Ste. Genevieve Elementary would like to thank the local groups and businesses who sponsored the Habit Leader Signs at Ste.
