SG R-II: The original plan of having our Homecoming Parade at 5 p.m. Friday is still in place. If we need to make a change due to weather, we will send an update, but as of now, we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow afternoon!

SG R-II: Currently, SGHS Spirit Night is scheduled for WEDNESDAY, Oct. 11 from 6 - 8 p.m. However, depending on the outcome of conference volleyball, Spirit Night might be rescheduled to Thursday. We will not know until Tuesday, Oct. 10, if we need to reschedule Spirit Night. We apologize for any inconvenience!
SG R-II: We wanted to give everyone a heads-up that tomorrow around 1:20 p.m., FEMA and the FEC will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts. Your phone will likely receive an alert message labeled as a test and not an actual emergency. Thank you.

From SG R-II: This morning at SGHS, there was a routine shelter-in-place while K9 units did a typical sweep of the school. Misinformation has been spreading regarding this being a lockdown with firearms found on campus. There were NO firearms found or involved, and this was NOT a lockdown. From SG R-II: DESE is launching its Close the Gap Grant program. Families could be eligible to receive a one-time grant of up to $1,500 for each student to use toward allowable educational services & products, such as internet connectivity, educational programs, & more. SG Campus: Please do not park in front of the yellow lines painted on the curbs on Washington Street near the entrance to the high school. The purpose of these yellow lines is to prevent cars from parking in these spaces so our crossing guard is able to see for students to cross safely. Thank you!
Pick-Up Line: SGE Families, if you are picking your child up after school using the pick-up line, please do not block businesses or driveways. Thank you, and we appreciate your patience as we work to make this process quicker and smoother these first few weeks of school.
SG R-II: We want to share a reminder that our bus routes will take a few weeks to settle into a routine. We ask that families have their children at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time for the first few weeks. As all of our families and bus drivers become accustomed to the new routine, the routes will adjust to the posted times.
