At the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting last night, the Board approved the addition of a professional development day to be held on Monday, Nov. 2. SGE Families--If your student arrives at SGE after the 8:00 bell, you must be present to sign them in. Please do not drop them off and leave. In order to be counted present and on time, your student must be in their classroom when the bell rings.
We recognize our bridge line is longer this year than in the past due to the increase in parent drop-offs. If timeliness is an issue, please consider leaving the house a few minutes earlier.

SGE Families: AM student drop-off must must happen at the bridge on 8th St. Cars are not allowed in the front parking lot from 7:30-8:00 per our student handbook. We have had several dangerously close calls with students walking in front of buses in the morning. Plan your bridge drop-off time accordingly to help keep our students safe.
The SGE online fundraiser runs through Thursday, October 15. Remember to ask grandparents, relatives, neighbors, friends, and co-workers if they would like to participate. You can share our online fundraiser with them through text as well as social media and email. Just go to your dashboard at www.ShopFund.com and select which way you want to share your information. Also tomorrow (Thursday) is COOP COLLECTION DAY. For every three items you sell, you can bring back a filled out coupon and receive a coop. Attention SGE Families: If you are using the bridge line for morning drop-off, please have students ready to go when they get to the bridge. The line appears to be moving slowly as the unloaders on duty have to wait for students to put on masks, grab their water bottles, and get their backpacks on.
