The Chester Softball Tournament has been pushed back two hours for tomorrow. The Dragons are now scheduled to play their first game at 11:00 AM.
The Softball Dragons received the #2 seed in the MAAA Conference Tournament and will play at 1:30 PM on Monday the 20th vs. Bismarck. All tournament games are at Mineral Area College. Admission for spectators is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Go Dragons!

The banquet dates are set for spring sports at SGHS! The Baseball and Softball Banquet will be held on Monday, May 18th at 6:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria. The Track and Boys Golf Banquet will be on Wednesday, May 20th at 6:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria.
Varsity Softball loses a heartbreaker by the final score of 8–7 to West County. The Dragons play on Saturday in the 1st Annual Chester Tournament.

Varsity Boys Golf defeats Central and falls to Potosi yesterday in conference play. Scores were Potosi 161, SG 179, Central 183. Nice work, fellas.
Congrats to Paul Taylor who set a new school record in the discus with a throw of 49.42 meters (162’ 1”)! Paul broke the previous record set by Darren Kreitler in 1984 of 48.18 meters (157’11”). Way to go Paul and Coaches!
