SG R-II: Currently, SGHS Spirit Night is scheduled for WEDNESDAY, Oct. 11 from 6 - 8 p.m. However, depending on the outcome of conference volleyball, Spirit Night might be rescheduled to Thursday. We will not know until Tuesday, Oct. 10, if we need to reschedule Spirit Night. We apologize for any inconvenience!
SG R-II: We wanted to give everyone a heads-up that tomorrow around 1:20 p.m., FEMA and the FEC will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts. Your phone will likely receive an alert message labeled as a test and not an actual emergency. Thank you.

From SG R-II: This morning at SGHS, there was a routine shelter-in-place while K9 units did a typical sweep of the school. Misinformation has been spreading regarding this being a lockdown with firearms found on campus. There were NO firearms found or involved, and this was NOT a lockdown. Please help mitigate the spread of misinformation. Thank you. Click here for more info: https://bit.ly/3EVlact

What learning looks like when there is a construction zone right outside the window 😊. Just kidding…our kids have handled the distraction very well, and watching the daily progress is such a neat experience. We are very excited for what’s to come!
Check out this crew! They each received a Dragon on Fire referral during the first week of school! Overall, we have been so impressed and thankful for the vibe of our building. Our kids are smiling, showing positive manners, and having wonderful navigational and social interactions. #sgmsrocks #sgfamily #sgtradition #sgexcellence

SG Campus: Please do not park in front of the yellow lines painted on the curbs on Washington Street near the entrance to the high school. The purpose of these yellow lines is to prevent cars from parking in these spaces so our crossing guard is able to see for students to cross safely. Thank you!
SG R-II: We want to share a reminder that our bus routes will take a few weeks to settle into a routine. We ask that families have their children at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time for the first few weeks. As all of our families and bus drivers become accustomed to the new routine, the routes will adjust to the posted times.
Thank you, and we'll see you tomorrow!
SGMS Families, we have exciting news about the start of construction on our SGMS elevator addition! We will also have a groundbreaking event during Open House next week on Thursday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m. We hope to see you there! See more here: bit.ly/3ODLufL
