We have our first Ultimate Dragon of the school year. Alana Willett received a positive office referral in all three of our pillars: Family, Tradition, and Excellence.
How fun to celebrate a 6th grader being the first of the year. She was so excited.
Please help me congratulate and celebrate Alana! #sgmsrocks #sgfamily #sgtradition #sgexcellence

2,000,000 words read! Hunter Garett and Jacob Brissette have surpassed reading 2 million words this school year. We are proud of them both. #sgmsrocks #sgexcellence

I'm late posting this one (my apologies). Ste. Genevieve Middle School students Jake Parker, Lily Saupe and Anna Fischer won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, respectively, at the State level, in the Art of Conservation 2022 Songbird Art Contest, hosted by Wildlife Forever.
Students had to choose between the following species; Golden-crowned Kinglet, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Brown Creeper, Cedar Waxwing, and Chipping Sparrow.
Jake Parker used colored pencils to show the Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
Lily Saupe used water color to show the Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
Anna Fischer used watercolor to show the Golden-crowned Kinglet.
Congratulations!!

Our Scholar Bowl team kicked off their season last night. They were both excited and nervous. They lost to Farmington but definitely left having learned a lot. Good luck throughout your season! #sgmsrocks #sgexcellence
