Our food drive to pack local food pantries starts Monday. Students can turn in canned food and any other non perishable foods to their advisory teacher. The grade level that brings in the most canned foods will receive donuts!

Red Ribbon Week continues w/ our Halloween Costume contest Wednesday and Thursday.
SGMS Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 29, from 1:30 pm-4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. We invite you to join us and look forward to seeing you in our halls! We want you to know we are developing plans for social distancing and will require masks/face coverings at all times. If you are unable or prefer not to visit in person, please reach out to our teachers to discuss your student’s academic performance by some other means. Middle School cheer tryouts will begin on Tuesday the 3rd after school.
Middle school winter sports practices begin on Monday, Nov. 2nd at 3:15. There is no school that day so practice is not mandatory. However, they are highly encouraged as athletes need 14 practices to play in the first game. Tryouts for teams will begin on Tuesday the 3rd.
Red Ribbon Week is this week. This is a time where we reinforce the importance of making smart and safe choices concerning drug and alcohol use. Dress up days for RRW: Mon/Tues: Wear Red, Wed/Thurs: Halloween Costume Contest. The winner gets pizza and a sweet trophy.
