SG R-II 2020 Summer Activities Update: For those students who plan to participate in summer activities at SG R-II, parents and guardians must complete, sign and return the waiver linked below before their student can participate. Parents only need to fill out one waiver per student. Students can turn this waiver into their coach or sponsor the first day of participation. If families do not have access to a printer, coaches and sponsors will have copies of the waiver during the first day of participation, and parents and guardians can complete the form in person.

On June 2, 2020, voters in the SG R-II School District re-elected incumbents Eric Basler, Martha Resinger and Jim Kirchner to the Board of Education. All three candidates will be sworn in on June 16, 2020 at 7 p.m. at the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, and will serve three-year terms. SG R-II has created guidelines for returning to summer activities. 🏐🐲🏀 Activities are tentatively scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 9, in Phase 2 under these guidelines, which will be updated as new guidance is released.

At this time, we are unable to begin summer activities on May 28. The decision about when to begin summer activities will be determined through further discussions among the MAAA schools & on the recommendations of local health authorities.

At this time, graduation will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 8 p.m., and prom will be held the night before, on June 19, at 7 p.m. Seniors enlisting in the military will participate in a “presentation of diplomas” ceremony on Saturday, May 16. More info to come on these events.
