For the 2020-2021 school year, the SG R-II summer/fall dead period (no contact) for athletics and activities will be Aug. 1 - 9. The first allowable fall practice day will be Monday, Aug. 10.
Parents of athletes at SGHS, just a reminder that after this coming Friday the 13th the cost to be an all-sports booster member raises from $25 to $35.
Due to the heat and heat index expected at 5:00 this afternoon, the freshmen football game at St. Dominic has been cancelled. The freshmen will now travel with the JV team to Jefferson R-7 and that game will be pushed back to 6:30 to beat the heat. Bus time is 5:00.
Congratulations also go out to Cylie Carlson, Alison Braun, and Dakotah Medows for earning their first ever high school Cross Country medals in the Junior Varsity race at the Arcadia Valley Cross Country Meet. Dakotah finished in 12th place, Alison finished in 8th place, and Cylie won the race. Exciting start to the cross country season.
Congratulations to Devin St. Clair and Levi Weigand for earning medals in the varsity race at the Arcadia Valley Cross Country Meet. Devin finished in 9th place and Levi finished in 17th place. Awesome job today boys!

Girls Golf finished in 9th, 11th and 12th places, respectively, in the Lutheran South Tournament. That's right, we have enough girls for A, B, and C teams. 13 total teams competed. Congrats, Dragon Golfers!
