Congrats to Senior Paul Taylor and his coaches on winning back-to-back State Championships in Class 3 in the Shot Put! Paul won with a phenomenal throw of 60 feet 5 3/4 inches! Great way to finish your high school throwing career, Paul!

District baseball at SG is canceled for today. We will play the semi final games tomorrow at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM with the championship game on Thursday at 2:00 PM.
Congratulations to the SG Track athletes who qualified for the Class 3 State Championships next weekend. To qualify an athlete had to be top 4 in their respective event. Paul Taylor- 1st in shot put and 2nd in discus. Ashlyn Wezner- 4th in 300m hurdles and 2nd in pole vault. Aila Wolk- 1st in pole vault. Good luck, Dragons!

Varsity Baseball ends their regular season with a convincing win over DeSoto by the final score of 11-1. Way to go, fellas! Districts starts on Tuesday at home vs Herculaneum.
All students scheduled to do a sports physical at school tomorrow, Thursday the 14th, should bring with them the physical form AND the HIPPA form that was sent in your confirmation email. This includes students accompanied by their parent. Thank you!

Due to some of our senior student-athletes qualifying for the Sectional Track Meet, the start time for the SGHS Commencement Ceremony has been moved to 8:00 p.m. in the Peggy J. Johnson Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday, May 16th. The completion of their events and travel back to Ste. Genevieve will not allow us to begin any earlier, and we want to ensure those students have the opportunity to participate in this special evening with their classmates. Doors to the gymnasium will now open at 7:00 p.m. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 together!

The Softball Dragons saw their season come to an end this afternoon to the 2 seed, Park Hills Central Rebels in the semi finals of the district tournament by a final score of 7–6. The girls played great and fell just short. Great season ladies!

The Baseball Dragons got the #3 seed at the Class 4 District 2 Tournament and will play #2 seed Herculaneum on May 19th at 6:00 pm at home. Go, Dragons!
Baseball also brought their big bats tonight defeating Central by the score of 12-2!!!!!!! Next game is Saturday!!
Varsity Softball brought their bats today to the first round of the district tournament defeating Scott City by a final score of 12–2. The Dragons will play at 1:30 on Saturday against the #2 seed Central Rebels. Go, Dragons!
