
The Dragons Girls Golf team opened their season today at Farmington and finished 1st place out of 7 teams! Match medalist was Eleanor McKlin with a 38! Great start, ladies!

Mark your calendars. The date has been set for the SG R-II 2026 Homecoming! Friday, September 25, 2026 vs. Fredericktown. To be clear, this is the Homecoming date for NEXT school year in 2026.

Attention: For those attending the football game this Friday at U-City, the game will start at 6:00. They have a clear bag policy. The only students allowed to attend are U-City and Ste. Gen students. Each student must provide a school ID at the gate. The gate is cashless. Here is the link to purchase tickets. Last night, the Varsity Football team opened their season at home defeating the St. Vincent Indians by a score of 49–35! Great team effort!

Students participating in athletics, including marching band, must have a physical submitted to the athletic office or to their coach/sponsor prior to practicing.

This includes the weight-room facilities at SG. Fall sports practices for high school begins on August 11th. Middle school fall sports practices begin on the first day of school.

Tomorrow, August 2nd, begins our mandatory athletic/activity dead period that runs through August 10th. During this time, students in grades 6-12 should avoid using all SG R-II athletic facilities, athletic equipment, and should refrain from communicating with coaches when possible.
