On Tuesday, November 18th, the Ste. Genevieve High School Principal’s Advisory Group traveled to Rolla High School for a student leadership visit. The group anticipated touring the building and learning about the initiatives Rolla uses to promote school spirit and student involvement. Upon arrival, Rolla’s Assistant Principal and student leaders greeted the SGHS representatives with warm hospitality.

The visit began with meaningful, student-led conversations focused on school clubs, fundraisers, building decorations, and strategies used to strengthen school culture. Rolla’s students shared a variety of activities and ideas that could serve as inspiration for future programming at Ste. Genevieve High School.

Following the discussion, Rolla’s student leaders provided guided tours of their significantly larger campus, offering insight into the layout, programs, and structures that support student engagement. The experience generated numerous ideas and sparked ongoing conversations within the Principal’s Advisory Group, conversations that may help shape future Dragon traditions.

Thank you to Rolla High School for the warm welcome and for sharing such valuable leadership experiences.

If you didn't watch the football game last night, you missed out. Although the Dragons came up short against Lift for Life it was a hard fought game that was entertaining to say the least. So proud of our Dragons and thank you to our seniors for four fantastic years. The final score was 48-41 in favor of Lift for Life.
