The Varsity boys basketball tournament at Desoto scheduled for the week of Nov. 30th has been cancelled. Our boys will now be in the Sullivan Tournament that same week.
Reminder: The football, emeralds dance, and cheer recognition ceremony is this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the SG R-II Performing Arts Center. Please wear a mask when entering, exiting, and moving around the facilities. Invite only.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the JV Girls Bball Tournament at Jefferson scheduled for Nov. 23rd and 24th is cancelled.

The Varsity Football Dragons fought hard this evening but dropped their district semi-final game against the Kennett Indians by a final score of 29-47. Thanks boys for a great season!!!

The boys cross country team also competed as a team at the state meet for the first time since 2016 and finished in 10th place with a final team score of 256 points. Thank you boys for an awesome season and for continuing the strong running tradition at SGHS!!!
Congratulations to the following boys cross country runners for their finishes at the Class 3 State Meet: Devin St. Clair-20th, Nathan St. Clair-60th, Mason Gegg-69th, Levi Wiegand-100th, & Corey Simmons-156th. The 20th place finish earned Devin All-State Honors.
Congratulations to the following girls cross country runners for their finishes at the Class 3 State Cross Country Meet: Dakotah Medows-117th & Cylie Carlson-128th. There were 153 total finishers in the girls race. Great season ladies!

PACTC Reminder: Perry County 32 School District will be in session tomorrow. SGHS students who attend the Perryville Area Career and Technical Center are expected to be in attendance. The bus will pick you up on the back parking lot of SGHS.
