In Storytelling, Bennett Walls-3rd & Xanna Powell-5th; Prose Reading, Jayden Rickman-1st & Carter Hogenmiller-6th; Open Poetry Reading, Elcie Schweigert-2nd & was named the top novice; Novice Interpretation, Lucy Hunsley-2nd; Original Oratory, Jeremiah Kunz-6th. On a cold and rainy day in Columbia at the Class 3 State Cross Country Championships, the girls team finished in 13th place and Hollyn Zangaro earned All-State Honors for the 3rd consecutive year with a 15th place finish! Congrats to the athletes and coaches on a great season!





Varsity football gets it done at Park Hills Central, defeating the Rebels 26–16 to advance to the district championship next week at Dexter. Go Dragons!

Cost of admission to Friday's football game at Park Hills Central is $6 per person, cash only. Ticket prices are set by MSHSAA.

Congratulations to the following cross country runners for earning All-District Honors today: Hollyn Zangaro-4th, Ashlyn Wezner-13th, Laurie Parker-19th, & Finn McClard-28th. Joining the girls team at the state meet will be Finn McClard as an individual. Way to go!



The Cross Country Teams were in action today at the Class 3 District 1 Meet at Arcadia Valley. The boys team finished in 9th place out 15 teams and the girls finished in 3rd place which qualifies the entire team for the state meet next week in Columbia at Gans Creek.


Last night varsity football defeated Herky 43-20 in the first round of the district playoffs! The Dragons will travel to Central on Friday for the district semi-final. Way to go, Green!

The first round of the district football playoffs is set. The Dragons will host Herculaneum on Friday at home at 7:00. Normal admission prices and rules apply. $3 for adults and $2 for students.

For anyone planning to go to the football game tonight at Caruthersville, you need a ticket to get in. We just received the tickets yesterday so a parent has volunteered to be at the gate at 6:00 to hand out tickets. The ticket allows you to then pay the $4 admission to get in.

Varsity Volleyball gets it done again tonight, this time in 4 sets against Valle Catholic in the district semi-finals! Scores were 24-26, 25-23, 25-17, 25-17. Championship vs. Potosi is on Tuesday at 6:30. Go Dragons!!
