Varsity volleyball gets it done and wins the MAAA Large School Conference Championship this evening with a victory over Fredericktown in four sets by scores of 23-25, 25-15, 25–16, 25–16. Way to go, Dragons!

SGHS Volleyball received the #3 seed in the Class 3 District 2 Volleyball Tournament. The Dragons will play Fredericktown on October 22nd at 7:00 PM at home. Admission is $6 for everyone. The conference seed meeting for next week's conference tournament is on Monday the 14th.

Our varsity volleyball girls get it done quick tonight with a 3-set victory over Potosi to win at least a share of the MAAA Conference Championship! Scores were 25–16, 25–18, 25–15. Way to go, Dragons! The Dragons will play at Fredericktown on Thursday.

Varsity volleyball finished a busy week with a 2nd place finish out of 16 teams at the Perryville Tournament falling in three sets to Seckman in the championship game. Way to go, ladies!

Due to the upcoming district golf tournaments around the state, the schools have all agreed to cancel the match at SG on Wednesday, October 9th.

On Senior Night the Volleyball Dragons swept the North County Raiders 3 sets to none by scores of 27–25, 25–13, 25–14. Thank you to the seniors and good luck the remainder of the season!
