Girls basketball senior night is tonight. Senior night for boys basketball, cheer, Emeralds, and winter guard is tomorrow night. Seniors and their parents should be at the gym ready to line up by 6:15 each night. Come support our seniors!
In a close game tonight against the Pacific Indians, the varsity boys basketball team drops their game by a final score of 38-39. The boys will be in action again on Thursday at home against Perryville.
The dates are set for the Winter Sports Banquets at SGHS! Monday, March 17 is the wrestling banquet at 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. Basketball, cheer, and Emeralds will be on Wednesday, March 19. Invitations will be sent to all players and managers in the coming days.
Varsity Girls Basketball makes it two in a row with a good team win, on the road at Perryville, by a score of 58–46. Way to go, Dragons!

The Dragons had a great weekend and are sending 12 boys to the State Wrestling Championships next week! The Dragons also finished in 1st place claiming a district title! Individual placers to come.
Varsity Girls Basketball wasted no time scoring baskets and defeated Herky by a score of 67-15. Way to go, ladies!
Boys District Wrestling at Park Hills and Girls Basketball at home are both on as scheduled for tonight. Admission to wrestling is $6, cash only. Varsity girls basketball will play first at 5:30 followed by JV.

Unfortunately, the girls basketball game with Crystal City will not be rescheduled.

The girls wrestling team was in action today at the Class 1 District 1 tournament and all competing athletes are state qualifiers. Individual results: Aila Wolk-1st, Hollyn Zangaro-1st, Hailey Davis-4th, Maggie Price-2nd, Ragan Picou-4th, Keely Fallert-1st, Hailey Wheeler-4th, Anna Fischer-3rd, & Aniston Cremer-4th. The girls as a team also brought home the 2nd place plaque! Way to go ladies on a special day & for representing the Dragon Community well!
The varsity girls fought hard and played well, but came up short to AV in the 5th place bracket of the MAAA Tournament by a score of 60-52. Way to fight, ladies!
